What we collect

When you send an enquiry through our quote form, we collect:

• your name and phone number
• your suburb
• your email address, if you give it
• the kind of job, a rough size and when you're hoping to start
• your message about the room
• any photos of the room you attach
• the page of the site you sent it from, and whether our spam check flagged it

Why we collect it

We use your details to call you back about the room, book a time to see it and give you a quote. If you go ahead, we use them to arrange the job.

We use your details only for your enquiry and, if you go ahead, your job. We don't add you to a mailing list.

Who else sees it

We only share your details with the people and services that help us answer your enquiry:

• the company that runs this website for us, which keeps a copy of each enquiry in a secure database so it isn't lost if an email fails
• Mailgun, the email service that sends your enquiry to us
• PipeReply, the follow-up system we use to reply to enquiries
• Google Analytics, once we switch it on, which counts visits to the site (see Cookies below)

Storage outside Australia

Some of these services store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. We use them only for the things listed above.

Cookies and analytics

If the quote form asks you to pick an icon to stop spam, it sets one small cookie. The cookie only remembers which icon you were asked for last, so the next check asks for a different one. It holds none of your details and lasts up to a year.

We may use Google Analytics to see which pages people visit and whether an enquiry was sent. If we do, it uses cookies, and it doesn't tell us who you are. You can block cookies in your browser settings, and the site and the quote form will still work.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to quote, do the job and keep our business records. After that, we delete them.

Keeping it safe

To stop the form being sent over and over, the site also reads your internet address (your IP address) when you send it. We don't save it with your enquiry.

Your enquiry travels over an encrypted connection, and the database copy can only be opened by the people who run this website for us.

Seeing or correcting your details

You can ask for a copy of the details we hold about you, or ask us to fix or delete them. Send the request through the enquiry form on this site and we'll reply within 30 days.

Making a complaint

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, tell us through the enquiry form first and we'll look into it.

If we don't reply within 30 days, or you're not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
